The Telangana state government has released Rs 500 crore for the implementation of the Mission Bhagiratha scheme.Recently, Rural Water Supply Department Secretary Smita Sabarwal issued orders regarding this.

The amount claimed to have been released to Bhagiratha mission under the state margin money.Another order has been issued releasing Rs 5 crore for Mission Bhagiratha Operation and Maintenance in Rajanna Sircilla, Vemulawada and Choppadandi constituencies.

However, on Monday, the Telangana state government released another Rs 500 crore for the Dalitbandhu scheme, which is being implemented as a pilot project in the Huzurabad constituency.It is learned that Rs 500 crore has already been released for the Dalit Bandhu scheme implementation in Telangana.

With the release of the recent funds, a total of Rs 1,000 crore has been released under the Dalit Bandhu scheme.

On the 16th of this month, Chief Minister KCR handed over Rs 10 Lakh to the 15 beneficiaries at the Huzurabad constituency and started the scheme.

There are 20,929 Dalit families in the five zones of the Huzurabad constituency.Also, the Telangana state government is planning to release another Rs 1,000 crore under this scheme.
