At the State Investment Promotion Board meeting chaired by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan, the CM has approved several proposals for setting up industries.The CM clarified that 75 per cent of the jobs in the newly formed industries should be allotted to locals.
However, the impact on the environment with the emerging industries should also be noted and all precautions should be taken to steer the state forward on the path of industrial progress.
At the State Investment Promotion Board meeting, CM Jagan approved the proposals of the Pitti Rail Engineering Components Ltd near Kopparthi, Kadapa District and Neel Kamal Furniture Industry.
Along with these, Jagan approved the expansion of Green Tech Industries in Naidu Peta, Nellore District, and Ammayapper Textiles Pvt in Elakatur, Chittoor district.
Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy said the CM Jagan had discussed information regarding investments of Rs.14,000 crore in the heavy industry sector in Andhra Pradesh.He said that Jindal Steel Plant is coming up in the Nellore district, which is expected to create 25,000 jobs.
Recently, CM Jagan promoted the ‘Disha’ app specially designed for the safety of women in the state.
