Zayed Khan, a singer and actor, has recently recorded the title track of the biopic Ahilyabai Holkar.He is also releasing indie songs and performing live, fulfilling his father’s unfulfilled dream.
Zayed grew up in Andaman and Nicobar and has been passionate about singing since he was a child.Recently he has spoken with the national media about his latest project, a series of two songs being released by Zee Music.
The concept of the sequel song is similar to that of movie sequels and TV show seasons.The first song starts the story, which is then completed in the second song.
This concept was developed by Zayed’s director, Arhaan Jamal, and the team loved it.
Zayed has been singing since the age of nine and began doing live shows to make money when there was a shortage of funds.He started an event company in 2013 and began doing wedding shows to manage his expenses.Although he has deep friendships with many talented singers, he had to make his mark in the film and singles industry.
When he first came to Mumbai in 2019, he didn’t have much success.
Zayed’s first single, Jo Tu Na Mila, was released in 2021 and became very popular.He went back to Andaman and contacted a friend about the Ahilyabai Holkar biopic.He recently recorded a peppy song for the movie, which is similar in emotion to Teri Mitti from the movie Kesari.
Zayed is excited about the series of songs being released by Zee Music and hopes to continue pursuing his passion for singing and acting.Although the Bollywood industry can be cut-throat, he is determined to make his mark and fulfill his father’s dream.
