Actress Zaira Wasim has recently shown support for women wearing hijabs in a recent tweet.Zaira, who had left the film industry in 2019 due to her religious beliefs, responded to a Twitter user who questioned the freedom of a woman wearing a niqab while eating.
She quote-tweeted the user’s post, sharing her own experience of attending a wedding where she chose to eat while wearing a niqab, despite others urging her to remove it.Zaira emphasized that wearing the niqab is a personal choice and not done to please others.
This is not the first time Zaira has spoken out on the issue of hijab.Previously, she had criticized the unjust ban on wearing the hijab and expressed her resistance to a system that harassed women for practicing their religious beliefs.
The talented actor shared that she wears the hijab with gratitude and humility, and strongly opposes the mistreatment of women who choose to do so.
