The shooting of ‘Vishwambhara,’ a socio-fantasy film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and South Queen Trisha, is progressing at a brisk pace.The film, directed by Vashishtha Mallidi, who delivered the blockbuster ‘Bimbisara,’ is slated for release next Sankranthi.
The interesting news is that the film’s team is currently shooting in the same house where Superstar Mahesh Babu’s recent hit, ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ was filmed.The house, which played a key role in ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ has been revamped to suit the theme of ‘Vishwambhara.’ Chiranjeevi and Trisha, who are paired together after 18 years since ‘Stalin,’ are seen as a married couple in the film.A song sequence, featuring them and the rest of the main cast, is being choreographed by Shobhi Master.
‘Vishwambhara’ also has two other female leads, Surabhi, who impressed in ‘Express Raja,’ and another actress, whose name is yet to be revealed.The film has 13 grand sets erected in Hyderabad for various scenes.The film promises to be a visual extravaganza with stunning action sequences, similar to Vashishtha’s previous work.
The film is produced by UV Creations, one of the leading banners in the industry.
The technical crew includes AS Prakash for production design, Sushmita Konidela for costume design, Chhota K.Naidu for cinematography, and MM Keeravani for music.The lyrics are penned by Sai Madhav Burra, while the songs are written by Sri Shiva Shakti Dutta and Chandra Bose.The script is handled by a team of four writers: Srinivasa Gavireddy, Ganta Sridhar, Nimmagadda Srikanth, and Mayukh Aditya.The film’s villain is still a mystery, as the team has not confirmed or denied the rumors of Rana Daggubati playing the role.
