In the wake of the Ukraine crisis, the British Prime Minister on Monday met with the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte on Downing Street, his official residence in London.
He said a global response was needed to counter Russia’s aggression and anarchy.
An official statement from Downing Street said the process began with a meeting of the three leaders.Leaders say the world’s aid to Ukraine will accelerate.
The prime ministers focused on Putin’s orders for attacks on Ukrainian cities.The Prime Minister decided that bilateral and tripartite meetings between the leaders should be held soon.
He called on Russia to act in a coordinated manner to curb illegal activities and barbaric attacks.
He explained that the affected people in Ukraine have been receiving assistance from Britain from time to time.
The UK has allocated an additional $ 100 million directly to the Ukrainian government budget to support Ukraine.The aid was announced to improve the economic situation in Ukraine, which arose out of Russian actions.
Johnson said Ukraine was receiving medical and essential supplies in a number of ways, with a focus on those in need of emergency assistance.He said the financial assistance provided to Ukraine was expected to boost the salaries of public sector employees and other key issues.
