The Telangana State Public Service Commission has made it clear that it is ready to give immediate notifications as soon as the government allows the filling of job vacancies.The arrangements are also being made in this direction.
TSPSC Chairman B.Janardhan Reddy, members Ramawath Dhansingh, Bandi Lingareddy, Kotla Arunakumari, Kareem Ravinder Reddy, Aravelli Chandrasekhar Rao, R.Satyanarayana, Secretary Anita Ramachandran met Governor Tamilsai Soundarajan on Tuesday.TSPSC 2020–21 Annual Report was presented on this occasion.
Commission Chairman Janarthan Reddy briefed the Governor on the steps being taken with regard to recruitment.
From April 2020 to March 2021 TSPSC has issued 3 notifications to fill 149 vacancies.
Conducted 4 tests to fill a total of 119 vacancies.A total of 10630 candidates wrote these exams.It has selected 2370 candidates by taking action against the pending notifications.While 1,26,381 candidates appeared for the departmental examinations, 53,886 qualified.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has announced over 90,000 vacancies in the government sector.Of these, 95 percent posts to be occupied by locals of Telangana.
The state government will commence direct recruitment to fill up to 80,039 posts on an immediate basis, whereas regularize jobs of around 11,103 contract workers.
