Officials have made all the arrangements for the counting of votes in the MLC polling held on the 10th of this month.The counting began at 8 p.m.The counting of votes will take place in five places for the local body MLC elections to be held in the joint Khammam, Nalgonda, Karimnagar and Medak districts.Ruling party candidates L Ramana and Bhanu Prasad Rao and former Karimnagar mayor Ravinder Singh contested as independents.State Chief Electoral Officer Shashank Goyal said the counting of votes would begin from 8 am at the counting centers set up in the district centers.
Officials said there was a chance the full results would be revealed by 12 noon.Police, on the other hand, have set up strong security at the counting centers.
Goyal said the police were taking strict measures to prevent any untoward incidents.The counting of votes will take place in 5 places tomorrow.
