San Francisco, Aug 18 : Adidas has unveiled a self-charging Bluetooth headphones with built-in solar cells inside the headband made of recycled plastic which converts all types of natural and artificial light to batteries that last for a long time.
The headphones are made to withstand the demands of living an active lifestyle.

it comes with as much as 80 hours of stored time in the dark according to the company.

Adidas RPT-02 SOL with Exeger’s Powerfoyle technology lets users regulate the listening experience with ease by using the control jog feature and locate the most appropriate light with the “innovative lighting indicator.’

The company claims that the IPX4-rated design offers users a little more during their workout , and let the headphones take care of sweat.

The headphones aren’t waterproof but they are able to withstand splashes and sweat.

The new headphones have the removable and washable parts are included, including the headband’s interior and the cushion cushions for the ear.

The headphones are made of an amalgamation of recycled nylon and plastic.

According to some reports, solar cell material is screen-printed onto plastic, making it suitable for a range of applications.

Similar technology is featured in Urbanista’s solar-powered headphone that also claim to provide up to 80 hours of “reserve” battery life.
