Telangana to reopen all educational institutions from Sep 1

A high-level review meeting chaired by CM KCR today at Pragati Bhavan has decided to reopen all private and public educational institutions in the state, including Anganwadi, from September 1.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR directed the ministers and officials of the Panchayati Raj and Municipal Departments to sanitize all educational institutions and hostels in villages and towns by August 30.

A high-level review meeting chaired by CM KCR was held at Pragati Bhavan today to decide on the reopening of educational institutions in the state.The educational institutions remained closed in the wake of the second wave of coronavirus.

Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Sabita Indra Reddy, MP K.Kesava Rao, Telangana Chief Secretary S Somesh Kumar accompanied CM KCR for this high-level review meeting.Also, in the meeting, they discussed the steps being taken by the respective governments in various states across the country for re-opening the educational institutions and the strategies being followed by them.

After discussing with the respective officials, Chief Minister KCR said that the Telangana government has decided to re-open all educational institutions in the state from September 1.
