1,486 new COVID-19 cases and seven causalities reported in Telangana in a day.
According to the new Covid-19 records, Telangana state has found 1,486 new COVID-19 cases on Monday and reported seven causalities owing to Coronavirus.Amid the heavy rains, GHMC and its surroundings have recorded 235 new cases, while Rangareddy has got 112 Covid numbers so far.
The new numbers enlisted have taken the total active cases to 20,686 in Telangana, which further records the total patients in the state as 2,24,545.However, the recovery rate has been a positive sign for Telangana.The hospitals in the state have reportedly discharged 1,891 patients that take the recovery rate to 90.21%, which is an all-time high for Telangana.Also, with just 3,478 admits in the hospitals, the state is also recording fewer numbers in the newly admitted cases.
However, a few districts like Bhadradri Kothugudem have been reporting a hike in the cases.Bhadradri Kothagudem alone recorded a sharp increase of 8 per cent in the past week, according to the Centre for COVID Monitoring.
On the other hand, the neighbouring state Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday recorded 3,503 new COVID-19 cases.The total tally marked at 7,89,553 with 5,144 Covid-19 patients have discharged.
The state has also reported 7,49,676 recoveries so far, and the recent 28 casualties took the toll to 6,481.
