However, there was a setback as the film couldn’t secure enough screens for its release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.Thankfully, Asian Films has stepped in to support the film.
At the pre-release event, Siddharth was visibly emotional, expressing his gratitude.
Directed by Su Arun Kumar, “Chithha” stars Siddharth, Nimisha Sajayan, Baby Sahasra Sree, and Anjali Nair in pivotal roles.
Nearly a week after its release, the film is set to make its debut in Telugu cinemas under the title “Chinna.” During a recent press conference, Siddharth revealed that top distributors in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Red Giant Movies and Sree Gokulam Cinemas, have hailed it as the best film.Even in Karnataka, the producers of “KGF” secured its rights after watching it.
Siddharth expressed his disappointment that the film couldn’t release simultaneously in Telugu due to doubts about its reception.He emphasized that if he made a good film, people would come to watch it.Asian Films’ Sunil Garu recognized the film’s potential and supported it.Siddharth urged cinema lovers to see it, assuring that it’s one of his best works.
In addition to directing, Siddharth also wrote and produced “Chithha” under his banner, Etaki Entertainment.
The film tackles the sensitive issue of child abuse, aiming to raise awareness about how society should treat victims of abuse.
