Director Merlapaka Gandhi, who shot to fame with sleeper hit Venkatadri Express is all set to begin his next film.The director is all set to continue his success streak with his next film now.This time, the director has teamed up with Sharwanand for Express Raja.This film is touted to be a romantic-comedy entertainer and the film is being made in an entertaining manner.
The film has Surabhi as the female lead in this film.Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy of UV Creations are producing this film.
Sharwanand teamed up with UV creations for the film Run Raja Run.This project has completed the business in major areas and it is satisfactory for the producers.
The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and currently the post production formalities are in full swing.According to reports, the makers are planning to release the film for Pongal, 2016.
If the makers release the film on time as per the plan, the Sharwanand starrer will lock horns with Balakrishna’s Dictator and Nagarjuna starrer Soggade Chinni Nayana.Also the latest entry into the Sankranthi race is NTR’s Nannaku prematho.Praveen Lakkaraju is scoring the music.More details will be out soon
