Bollywood superstar Salman Khan arrived in Kolkata on Saturday for his Da-Bangg Tour.
He was seen visiting the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjees residence in the Kalighat area.
The actor was greeted by the CM, who put a shawl around his neck and the two exchanged pleasantries.Salman was dressed in a light blue shirt with grey trousers and sunglasses, accompanied by his bodyguard Shera.
The actor spent about 30 minutes at the CMs house before heading to the East Bengal Club for his performance.The club recently celebrated its 100th anniversary and Salmans show also features Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja Hegde, Guru Randhawa, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Maniesh Paul.However, some fans were unhappy with the ticket prices, ranging from Rs.699 to Rs.40,000, with lounge access costing up to Rs.2-3 lakhs.Salmans latest movie, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, received negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office.
He recently made a cameo appearance as his iconic character Tiger in Shah Rukh Khans Pathaan and is set to star in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif.Security has been tightened at the hotel where Salman is staying, given his high-profile status.
