The much-anticipated movie ‘Salaar,’ starring Prabhas and directed by Prashanth Neel, has faced delays and will now be released in two parts.The official release date for ‘Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire’ was announced by Hombale Films on September 29, after initially being scheduled for September 28.The film is currently undergoing final post-production work.
The delay was primarily due to various issues and situations.Initially, it was set for release in December but would have clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s highly awaited film with Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Dunki.’ To avoid the clash, the makers decided to push the release to a later date.
The confirmed release date for ‘Salaar’ is December 22, 2023.Hombale Films shared this news on Instagram along with a striking poster featuring Prabhas in an intense and blood-covered look.
Prabhas plays the lead role in the film, with Prithviraj Sukumaran portraying the antagonist, Varadharaja Mannaar.The movie also boasts an ensemble cast, including Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, and Madhu Guruswamy.
In addition to ‘Salaar,’ Prabhas has other exciting projects lined up, including ‘Kalki 2848 AD,’ ‘Raja Deluxe,’ ‘Spirit,’ and a collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers under the direction of Siddharth Anand, known for ‘Pathaan.’
