Saina Nehwal Biopic Gets A Release Date

After Parineeti Chopras The Girl on the Train released on Netflix a few days ago, another movie where she will play Badminton champion Saina Nehwal is gearing up for release.

The pre-look poster and a small teaser along with the release date of the much anticipated Saina Nehwal biopic, titled Saina, was released recently.

The true story starring Parineeti Chopra in and as Saina will release in theatres on 26th March 2021.‘Saina’ is based on the journey of badminton player Saina Nehwal who from an ordinary young lady became an Olympic medallist.

The film is written and directed by Amole Gupte and the film will feature some incidents and moments in Saina’s life.Sharing the teaser, Parineeti wrote: "SAINA! 26th March in cinemas." The teaser shows the grooming of Saina from a young enthusiast to a professional.Sainas fierce determination comes through.

"Saamne koi bhi ho, main toh bas maar dungi (I dont care who my opponent is, I will simply go for the kill)," she says.

The poster in close angle shows a hand reaching out for the shuttlecock that has the title designed in its shape.The wristband on the hand features the tricolors of the Indian flag.Also Powerful words- “Maar Doongi” on the poster grabs the attention.
