As Japan lifted restrictions on movie theaters, Prabhas’s last action thriller ‘Saaho’ hit a large number of screens in the country on 27th March 2020.The Telugu film was dubbed into the Japanese language for the audience to watch and to everyone’s surprise, this movie has set new records by becoming the fifth highest-grossing Indian movie in Japan surpassing Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ records. Now another interesting news is that ‘Saaho’ has now completed 250 days of its release and is still running on the big screes of Japan.Post ‘Baahubali’, ‘Saaho’ was released amid high expectations but the content of the film failed to grab the audiences’ attention in Telugu though it was a moderate hit in the Hindi belt.
But this action thriller has found huge patronage from the Japanese audiences.
Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor played the female lead role in the film which was directed by Sujith and produced by UV creations, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Arun Vijay played negative roles in the film which also has Mahesh Manjrekar, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, and Murli Sharma playing important roles.On the work front, Prabhas will next be seen in ‘Radhe Shyam’ under the direction f Radha Krishna Kumar of ‘Jil’ fame.
