Rajinikanth’s Spiritual Visit to Badrinath Dham Following Jailer’s Blockbuster Success

Rajinikanths latest movie, "Jailer," which hit theaters globally on August 10, is a big hit.The film has earned impressive box office numbers, both in India and around the world.

In just three days, the movie achieved a remarkable milestone by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in India.

Recently, Rajinikanth visited the famous Badrinath temple to offer prayers to Lord Badri Vishal and even attended the evening aarti.He was seen interacting with fans outside the temple in a photo shared by news agency ANI.In "Jailer," Rajinikanth portrays the role of a police officers father.The film also stars Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, with cameo appearances by Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Tamannaah Bhatia.

The action-packed movie is directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures.The films success is evident in its worldwide box office collections, having grossed over Rs 200 crore.In India, it opened with a collection of Rs 48.35 crore, followed by Rs 25.75 crore and Rs 35 crore on the second and third days, respectively.The total Indian collection of "Jailer" has now reached Rs 109.10 crore, with a significant contribution from Tamil Nadu.Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared that the movies performance in the US is also noteworthy, as it approaches the $1 million mark.

With its strong showing over the extended weekend, its likely that the film will easily surpass the Rs 500 crore mark in its worldwide gross collection within the first week.

However, "Jailer" faces stiff competition from "Gadar 2," featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, and "OMG 2," starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi.
