Rajinikanth, a popular South Indian actor, is currently working on his upcoming movie called “Jailer” with director Nelson Dilipkumar.The film is highly anticipated by his fans and is currently in the final stages of shooting.
Rajinikanth has arrived in Kochi, Kerala to wrap up the last schedule of the film.The entire shooting process of “Jailer” is expected to finish by April 15 and will move on to post-production work.
Reports suggest that the superstar will be filming in Kochi for ten days with his team for the final schedule.Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is also expected to join him in the final schedule as he plays a character called Muthuvel Pandian in the film.
Meanwhile, actress Aparna Balamurli, who acted in the Tamil film “Soorarai Pottru,” bumped into Rajinikanth at the airport while he was heading to Kochi.She shared a photo with him and expressed her excitement to meet the only superstar.
“Jailer” is a dark comical thriller film where Rajinikanth plays the role of a prison officer named Muthuvel Pandian.Mohanlal is making a special appearance in the movie while Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is the lead antagonist.
Other supporting actors in the film include Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan.Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff is also part of the film and is reuniting with Rajinikanth after 36 years.
The music for “Jailer” is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and Vijay Kartik Kannan is the director of photography.The movie is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.
After completing “Jailer,” Rajinikanth will start shooting for a cameo role in his daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth’s movie “Lal Salaam,” which stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles.
