Raj Tarun’s ‘Dream Girl’ Remake Is On

It was earlier reported that Rana Daggubati has bought the Telugu remake rights of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Dream Girl’ which was a decent hit in Bollywood.The film was also announced with Raj Tarun reprising Ayushmann Khurrana’s role in Telugu.

The original was produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Films and saw Ayushmann Khurrana as a small-town boy, who could mimic a woman’s voice.
During the lockdown, news came out that his project has been kept on hold and may not happen any time soon as Suresh Babu wanted to see how the small budget films would do business at the box office after the pandemic.

With the success of ‘Uppena’ and ‘Krack’, guess they might take off now.
Now as per reports, Raj Tarun has recently confirmed that this film is very much on track and said that it will be directed by Vijay Kumar Konda of ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthaindhe’ fame.Interestingly this will be the third collaboration of both the hero and the director after ‘Orey Bujjiga’ and another film ‘Powerplay’ which is in theatres right now.

Raj Tarun also mentioned that the project would be launched at an appropriate time once the pre-production work is completed.On the work front, Raj Tarun also has a film for Annapurna Studios under the direction of Srinivas Gavireddy in his pipeline.Keep watching this space for more updates!
