He founded a trust to assist the less fortunate using his earnings, engaging in charitable activities.Lawrence has been actively involved in charity work, extending his support to more people.

Recently, he released a video asking his fans to refrain from donating to his charity, explaining his decision. He shared, “Some time ago, I asked everyone not to send money to my trust.I can support my children myself now. When I started the trust, I was a dance master.Back then, I cared for 60 kids, teaching dance to those with special needs and aiding in heart surgeries.I needed assistance for these acts of charity, so I sought help from others.”

Continuing on, Lawrence realized that his film output had increased from making a movie every two years to now producing three films annually. This growth in his earnings allowed him to take on the responsibility of his charity work without seeking external help.

His motivation was not rooted in arrogance, but rather in the understanding that he could independently sustain these causes. This realization led him to redirect the incoming donations towards individuals and groups genuinely in need.

Lawrence went on to encourage others to extend their support to various other organizations that were struggling financially. He wrapped up his message by expressing his gratitude for the willingness of many to stand alongside him in aiding those less fortunate.

He assured his audience that he would provide guidance to those who were eager to contribute, directing them towards organizations that were in dire need of financial assistance. He emphasized that participating in such efforts would bring about a profound sense of satisfaction and concluded his message with heartfelt appreciation.

During the ‘Chandramukhi 2’ audio launch, Lyca Productions CEO Subhaskaran contributed Rs 1 crore to Lawrence’s trust.Lawrence pledged to combine his funds with this donation to buy land and build a structure in memory of Subhaskaran’s mother. This building will serve as a learning and practice space for his dance students.
