Premalu’s Digital Debut: A Surprise Twist in the OTT Release!

Premalu, a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film, has taken the industry by storm.Directed by Girish A.

D., the movie stars Naslen K.Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles.Its engaging plot revolves around Sachin, who navigates through lifes struggles while falling in love with the bubbly Reenu.

The films twists and turns keep viewers entertained as they follow Sachins journey.Premalu emerged as a massive hit, grossing over Rs.135 crores.Made on a budget of around Rs.8 crore, it became one of the most profitable films in Malayalam cinema.The Telugu version, presented by SS Karthikeya (son of director SS Rajamouli), received overwhelming acclaim.

The movies success was unexpected but well-deserved, thanks to its intelligent writing, exceptional performances, and brilliant humor.The film is now gearing up for its OTT release.

As per recent updates, Premalu will stream on Disney+ Hotstar in three languages: Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.The release date is set for April 12, 2024, coinciding with the Vishu weekend.

Notably, SS Karthikeya played a crucial role in bringing the Telugu version to the audience.The movies music, composed by Vishnu Vijay, enriches the cinematic experience.

Buoyed by Premalus success, SS Karthikeya is venturing into film production.Teaming up with Arka Media Works (producers of the iconic Baahubali franchise), he announced two ambitious projects.

The first, titled Oxygen, revolves around friendship and marks the directorial debut of Siddharth Nadella.The second film, Dont Trouble the Trouble, will be helmed by debutant director Shashank Yeleti.

Both promise unique and content-rich experiences for audiences.
