Rawalpindi : , Dec 14, 2014 : .A shooting incident occurred in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, where a Pakistani officer was shot and killed, as well as two other officers.Unknown motorcycle-riding gunmen opened fire on a patrol party of police officers in Pir Wadhai late Monday night.Assistant Superintendent in Police Rawalpindi Beenish Ftima said to Xinhua.
According to the official, gunmen fled from the area after the attack.He also stated that two police officers who were critically hurt have been taken to the local hospital.
A heavy contingent of police force reached the site to investigate the matter, and a search operation was launched to arrest the attackers.
No group or individual has claimed the attack yet.
