Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao’s statement at a public meeting in Nirmal, “Hum kisise darne vale nahin hai… aur insaf karenge aage badke (we are not scared of anyone, we will do justice)” raised questions over who he was referring to.
KCR spoke in the Deccani dialect while speaking to Muslims.He said the BRS government had implemented welfare schemes for the minorities like Shadi Mubarak, 2BHKs and residential schools.
He acknowledged a section of the crowd that was holding up placards demanding 2BHKs for Muslims.
KCR said the government was implementing welfare schemes for the poor irrespective of their caste and religion and doing justice for all.That is when came the remark about not being scared of anyone.
‘Flats ready to be handed over’
As many as 2,000 2BHK flats were ready to be handed over to beneficiaries, he said.He also announced ₹10 lakh each for 396-gram panchayats and ₹25 crore each for Nirmal, Mudhole and Khanapur municipalities.
The chief minister also announced ₹20 lakh each for 19 mandals.
He said the BRS MLA G Vittal Reddy brought to his notice as how the farmers from bordering villages in Maharashtra were purchasing land in Adilabad and drawing water to their villages.
He informed the MLA that the farmers could draw water and there was nothing wrong with it.
Referring to the massive development witnessed by the state in the last 10 years, Rao said more was needed to be achieved for the benefit of the state.He claimed that only the BRS government was giving quality power for free to farmers, in the country.
Telangana stood first in the per capita income when compared to other states in India, he added.After the Assembly elections in Telangana, food processing units would be established and more employment opportunities would be generated in the district, he said.
