Niharika Replaced In A Tamil Film With Megha

Mega heroine Niharika Konidela recently got engaged to Chaitanya Jonnalagadda and their wedding will take place in December this year.

As her wedding is fixed towards this year-end, Niharika is now walking out of her movies which she signed earlier because of her marriage.

Earlier this summer, actress Niharika Konidela had signed her second Tamil film, a romantic comedy featuring young Kollywood hero Ashok Selvan in the lead role.She signed the film with a plan to wrap the shooting during the summer season but the shoot has been stalled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The team of this film is now said to be resuming the films shoot from October but Niharika told the makers that she cannot accommodate dates as her wedding date has been fixed.Left with no option, Niharika had to walk out of the project and Chal Mohan Ranga and Thoota fame actress Megha Akash has reportedly been roped in as Niharika’s replacement.The film’s producer J.Selva Kumar confirmed this news while speaking to a popular English daily and said the shoot will only commence from October.He went on to say that Niharika, being a thorough professional, tried her best to hang on to the project even though her marriage is due this year-end.Debutant Swathini will be directing the movie.
