New Delhi, Aug 23 : The streaming giant Netflix has stepped up its ambition to become the biggest in Cloud gaming as it hunts for skilled gamers to compete with Cloud gaming services such as Sony PlayStation Now, Google Stadia, Apple Arcade and Amazon Luna.According to Protocol the streaming service is searching for an experienced security product manager with expertise in dealing with “cloud gaming problems” as well as rendering engineer that can assist Netflix’s “cloud gaming service” and other related posts.
Netflix recently introduced games for mobile devices, such as “Into the Breach” and “Before Your Eyes” among others.
But, less than 1 percent of its players are playing on mobile devices.
Netflix is planning to launch at minimum 50 games before the end of the year.
App analytics firm Apptopia estimated that an average of 1.7 million gamers are playing with the games each day which is less than 1 percent of Netflix’s more than 221 million subscribers.
Netflix’s “Stranger Things”-themed games in particular have been successful.
Although its mobile games aren’t particularly popular cloud gaming might get more attention especially from younger gamers.
“Cloud gaming is a great idea that makes an awful huge amount of sense for Netflix.
