TDP crisis management team has plunged into action to stop floating of Pawan Kalyan’s new party .Sources say, CM ramesh and Ganta Srinivas Rao from TDP have called upon Pawan Kalyan to discuss this matter.
TDP said to have put forward several offers before Pawan Kalyan .According to political sources TDP is keen on alliance with yet to born Pawan party.The party is wooing Pawan Kalyan to strike an alliance with it so that the latter can play spoilsport to the YSR Congress and pave the way for the opposition party to come to power in the Seemandhra region.Pawan’s tie-up with TDP will be something like a mutual co-ordination.TDP may not rope in their candidates where Pawan’s candidates would be contesting.Similar co-operation is expected from pawan kalyan to TDP as well.
TDP assured its support to all those recommended leaders of Pawan camp and moreover TDP likely to agree to fund election campaign expenses of Pawan Kalyan.TDP is worried as Pawan Kalyan would split the Kapu community votes which are 22% , especially in East & West Godavari.
The TDP has some cause for worry due to the development, as it was the Praja Rajyam party started by Chiranjeevi that ate into TDP votes and deprived him from coming to power.This time around, TDP is banking on the Kapu votes in Seemandhra and has offered tickets to many members of the community including erstwhile PRP leaders like Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
