Mumbai 6 September : As well as a host of other celebrities, Mugdha Godse and Rahul Dev chose to go green for their celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi.They kept the celebration private with flowers in place of the synthetic “toran” and homemade Prasad.
Mugdha is famous for her roles in “Fashion,” “Jail and ‘Heroine’ revealed: “We had a beautiful private puja with simple decorations and homemade Prasad.”

In discussing the decor she set up at her home, she added: “Keeping in mind the necessity of an eco-friendly puja, we made use of flowers instead of traditional toran decorations , and it was a private event.”

The 10-day festivalthat began on the 31st of August and ended on August 31, has been awash with Bollywood celebrities sharing photos of taking Ganpati home and wish their fans.These included Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty and many others.

Raqesh Bapat of the ‘Bigg Boss: OTT’ fame shared several photos of creating his own Ganpati idol and encouraged his followers to choose eco-friendly Ganeshas.

In the same way the actress Juhi Parmar demonstrated her artistic flair by creating her own Ganesha with the help of vegetables at home.
