AP Cinematography Minister Perni Nani said that apart from remunerations, films with a budget of over Rs 100 crore would be given the opportunity to apply for higher ticket rates.The minister said that the RRR movie makers have applied to increase the ticket rates.
The committee will look into the matter and take a decision.
It has been revealed that movie ticket prices could go up, if permitter by the government.
He said the government would take the decision rather than burden the people.Tenders have been finalized for the online ticketing process.
Nani said the policy would come into effect soon.
On the other hand, it is learned that the RRR premiere shows have been sanctioned by the AP government and the government has offered to increase the ticket rates up to Rs 100 in addition to the ticket price for the RRR movie.

The discussion was majorly about flexible ticket pricing and extra shows in AP for RRR.Considering the film’s budget and craze, there would be no price cap for tickets generally.But the government of AP imposed strict rules and announced that there would be no special shows and the ticket prices should be sold as per the issued GO.Rajamouli revealed that they received a warm welcome and YS Jagan said that he would consider their requests for RRR.
