Mahapadayatra: Prakasam district police issues notice to Amaravati farmers

Amaravati farmers Mahapadayatra titled Nyayasthanam to Devasthanam, which started a few days ago for the conservation of Amaravati as AP capital, is receiving a huge response from the people of Andhra.

Amaravati farmers started this walkathon for the protection of the capital.

A large number of women started the walkathon, and this would be concluded in Tirupati.Currently, this Mahapadayatra is going on in the Prakasam district.

However, the Prakasam district police gave a shock to the Amaravati farmers.Prakasam district police have recently issued notices to the organizers of the walkathon.

Parchur SI came to the walkathon to give the notices in the name of the DSP of Chirala.On this occasion, a clash erupted between the police and the farmers who were making the Mahapadayatra.

The police said that the farmers are violating the rules.But the farmers said that they havent violated rules.

Upon receiving the information, ASP Ravichandran came to the Mahapadayatra and spoke to the farmers.He said that only 157 people were allowed to participate in the Padayatra.

But, more than 2500 people are participating in the walkathon.In this context, they were given notices, said ASP.Shiva Reddy, the organizer of the walkathon, responded to this and blamed the police.He said they had not committed any violations and were receiving overwhelming support from the public.
