Lebanon celebrates its 78th Independence Day by holding a military parade

Beirut 23 November : Lebanon marked Mondays 78th Independence Day by a military parade.

The Presidency of Lebanon released a statementThe parade was held at Yarzeh Defense Ministry, southeast of the capital Beirut.

It began with a 21 gun salute and ended by President Michel Aoun laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.Helicopters from the Lebanese Air Force and Tucano aircraft flew above the site, bearing a Lebanese Flag.

The military parade was then followed by the General Security Forces, the Internal Security Forces, and the General Security Forces.A day before, President Aoun delivered a speech to commemorate the occasion and vowed to help Lebanon recover from the crisis.int/sh #Lebanon #celebrates #Independence #military #parade.
