Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Jawan,’ directed by Atlee, is generating a lot of excitement.In the movie, SRK will play two roles – an intelligence officer and a thief.
However, there’s a problem before the film’s release.Some clips from the movie have been circulating online without permission.
Red Chillies Entertainment, the production company, has taken legal action against an unknown person for suspected theft under the Information Technology Act.The company filed a complaint stating that certain clips were shared on Twitter without permission, which violated copyright.
Reports suggest that Red Chillies Entertainment had clearly instructed that no mobile phones or recording devices should be used on set during filming.Despite this, someone still managed to share unauthorized clips, which seemed to undermine the film’s importance.
The production company identified five Twitter accounts responsible for sharing the clips.Despite sending legal notices, only one account acknowledged receiving the notice.
In response, Red Chillies Entertainment took legal action by filing a lawsuit in the Delhi High Court.The court ordered the Twitter handle to remove the shared clips, which they did.The incident was officially reported to the Santacruz police station, leading to the registration of a case under sections 379 (related to theft) of the IPC Act and 43(b) of the Information Technology Act.
Speaking about ‘Jawan,’ it’s an action-packed thriller directed and written by Atlee.Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, it features Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani.This movie marks Nayanthara’s debut in Hindi films and also includes a cameo appearance by Deepika Padukone.The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.The release date is set for September 7, 2023.
