‘Laabam’ Trailer talk: One more ‘Khaidi No 150’ on the cards!

What’s more interesting in the trailer is the concept of Industrialists vs Farmers.In the trailer, Vijay utters a dialogue “Only if factories function, agriculture and mankind can survive, is a myth they have instilled in us to believe, only if agriculture exists can factories function, that is the truth”.

This particular dialogue has reminded us about Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Khaidi No 150’ which is remade from the Tamil movie ‘Kathi’.Stories revolving around farmers’ issues have been evergreen selling points for decades.

Explicitly, if Laabam clicks in Tamil, it might impress Telugu producers to remake it with a big star like Chiranjeevi.Vijay Sethupathi himself is producing the film while Shruti Haasan slips into a bubbly character.
