Actress Janhvi Kapoor recently visited a famous hilltop temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, to offer her prayers.She looked elegant in traditional attire as she arrived for the darshan.
This temple is devoted to Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu believed to have come to Earth to relieve humanity from the challenges of the Kali Yuga era.It’s known as Kaliyuga Vaikuntha, and the deity is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam.
Janhvi Kapoor frequently visits the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple; she even celebrated her birthday there last year and prayed there a few months ago.
In her recent work, Janhvi was seen in the movie ‘Bawaal’ alongside Varun Dhawan.The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for blockbusters like ‘Dangal’ and ‘Chhichhore,’ is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of World War 2.Varun plays a history teacher who takes Janhvi’s character on a European trip to World War Two sites.The film was shot in various international and Indian locations, involving a crew of over 700 people.
‘Bawaal’ was released on Amazon Prime Video on July 21.Janhvi also showcased Gaurav Gupta’s designs at the India Couture Week 2023 in Delhi.She wore a stunning electric blue lehenga skirt with a blue blouse and a long cape for added drama.
In the upcoming months, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ opposite RajKummar Rao.She’s also part of the movie ‘Ulajh,’ co-starring Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah.
For those who may not be familiar, Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of the late Sridevi, who was also an actress, and Boney Kapoor, a renowned producer.
