David Warner asks not to blame anyone in SRH as he takes full responsibility for the loss against KKR.
With six wickets in hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad was unable to post a high target at the end of the innings against KKR on Saturday. The David Warner-led SRH has only 142 runs on the board in 20 overs for losing just 4 wickets.Kolkata Knight Riders have easily achieved the target with two more overs to bowl, securing their first points on the table.
Except Manish Pandey 51(38), all the batsmen including Warner, took time to settle first which is not so good in T20s.Saha has eaten 30 balls for his 31 runs, and Mohammad Nabi got 11 from 8 balls when SRH needed to score quick runs.
Talking to press, post the match, Warner said he was upset with the extra cautious batting approach by Sunrisers batsmen.
At first, it was poor dismissal from the captain, and the middle batsmen haven’t done better with the bat as they got only 20 runs in 4-5 overs after warner got out.Warner said, he doesn’t want anyone to blame, and as a captain, he takes full responsibility for not batting till the end.
In their next encounter, SRH will take on DC on Tuesday.
