However, the impact is likely to be greater on schools.Educational institutions in AP have already reopened after the Sankranthi holidays.
Opposition TDP and parents of some students are also demanding extension of leave in the wake of Covid outbreak in the state.

There is a campaign to extend the holidays to schools.Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh has recently responded to this order.
He gave clarity on the management of online classes.Minister Suresh said that we are taking a lot of care about the health of the students.
He said we have been following ‘All-Pass’ policy for last two years which is likely to cause problems for students in the future.In view of this the schools were reopened.
The minister clarified that 90 per cent of the 26 lakh students have been vaccinated.
He also said vaccination for the teachers is completed.
It was revealed that the schools were run continuously for 150 days.He explained that the management of the schools was going on without any loss of the academic year.
He said the actual Covid outbreak had nothing to do with school management.The minister clarified that an appropriate decision would be taken in case of an emergency.
