IMD report says parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will witness heavy rainfall starting from November 11.
According to the India Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall with thunderstorm will hit a few areas of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh starting from November 11.
Reportedly, the north-easterly winds, which blow in from North-East India and across the Bay of Bengal, are set to strengthen in a couple of days.
During the coming three days Tamil Nadu is going to witness heavy showers due to the strong and moist winds.
IMD says moderate to heavy thunderstorms and lightning likely to occur across Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.India Meteorological Department has also issued a warning to the residents to stay alert.
IMD has issued a yellow watch over Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh for four days starting from Wednesday.
IMD predicted the districts Anantapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Kurnool, Guntur, Kadapa, Krishna, Nellore, Prakasham, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and West Godavari to witness light to moderate rains and thunderstorms starting from Wednesday.
Reportedly, the precipitation remains between 70-100% for Wednesday and Thursday for Vishakhapatnam, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
