Most Telangana leaders expressed dissatisfaction over the GHMC election schedule.
GHMC elections have become a hot topic ever since the Telangana State Election Commission has announced the schedule.
However, most leaders of all the parties have expressed shock on the GHMC poll schedule, as there is not enough time to prepare for the elections.
According to the schedule, all the candidates have to submit their applications by November 20th.
The Election commission examines the applications by Nov 22nd.The last day to withdraw the nominations, if any, would be Nov 24.The election for the 150 wards in GHMC goes on Dec 1st.Finally, the counting and the result will be announced on Dec 4th.
However, the schedule is a great help for the ruling party, TRS, as it has full control of GHMC affairs.Many political critics say the election would be critical for parties like BJP and Congress if the polls have held in a short span.
The candidates get less time to campaign, and the tension would surely obstruct their preparations.For BJP, compared to Dubbaka, there is less time for planning as they are not still fully prepared for GHMC elections.
The Dubbaka result is explicit, extensive planning of BJP that has enough time before the poll.
