Followers of drug peddler Tony in police custody!

The government is taking strict measures against drug trafficking and consumption in Telangana.

As part of that, the police department began an exercise to set up a special unit.

It has already announced that it will set up a new division across the state with a staff of 1000.Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand will soon meet several senior police officials at the Panjagutta police station to discuss measures to be taken to eradicate drugs and recruit staff.

It is learned that the already arrested drug peddler Tony who will be interrogate today by CV Anand.CCS Gajarao Bhopal, West Zone DCP Joel Davis, Intelligence SP Chaitanya Kumar, Task Force DCC Radhakishan Rao, Narcotic Control Cell ACP Nursing Rao will be present.

CV Anand has set up a special unit for drug eradication.Additional DCPs, ACPs and inspectors are constantly monitoring the drugs.Two inspectors have already been appointed.

The police department is in the process of assembling state-of-the-art equipment to detect drugs immediately.Police custody of drug addict Tony is due to end today.

Todays trial is going to be crucial as it is the last day.Tony has been interrogated and several key details have already been obtained.Police found that Tony had links with traders in four states.

Tonys contacts with traders in Goa, Bangalore, Mumbai and Calcutta, Tonys phone call data and bank account statements are being questioned by the police.The police are looking into the matter.

Arif Sheikh, Khaza Mohammad, Aftab Parvez, Rehmat, Irfan, Firdos and two other Tony followers were arrested by the CCS Narcotics Control Cell and Task Force police.
