Cyberabad DCP (Crimes) Kalameshwar explained about the measures being taken against drug dealing in Hyderabad twin cities including Telangana state.
DCP Kalameshwar said that appropriate measures are already being taken in Cyberabad to control drugs.
He said that special surveillance was being carried out on those who were buying and selling drugs and strict action was being taken against them.Therefore, a Narcotics Cell has been set up under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate and special teams have been set up for monitoring from time to time, said DCP Kalameshwar.

Concerned that youth are becoming addicted to drugs, Kalameshwar said that special counseling is being arranged for the youth.
