Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy held a review meeting on Covid prevention measures in the state.CM Jagan reviewed on corona treatment and vaccination at the CM’s camp office in Tadepalli.
Authorities have been instructed to take steps to ensure full vaccination in all districts.During the review, he said that besides providing better facilities to those in Covid Care Centers, all those who are admitted to the hospitals should also be given full treatment under Arogyasree.
He said that the implementation of Arogyasree and EHS in the state should be talked about all over the country and that we are implementing Arogyasree as a revolutionary move.He hoped that the various programs being carried out in the state would inevitably stand as an ideal for the country over time.
CM Jagan suggested that Arogyasree should be further strengthened through field level observations.
The number of people who need to be admitted to the hospital despite the cases being registered is very small, officials said.
Those who are admitted to hospitals are also almost recovering with treatment, officials said.Of the more than 1.06 lakh cases, only 2,709 were admitted to hospitals.93 per cent of those admitted to hospitals are also being treated by Arogyasree.90.34 per cent of those over 18 years of age have completed two doses of vaccination.
