By Santosh Kumar Pathak New Delhi, Sep 10 : After dumping the BJP and in forming the Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar with backing from RJD, Left parties and Congress, Nitish Kumar is trying to discredit the saffron-colored party at the Centre as well as by taking on opposition parties.

While Pashupati Paras, who is the younger brother of late Ram Vilas Paswan, is a minister at the Centre and his Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party has to show its strength despite the divisions with his son Chirag Paswan.

As a politician thought of as smart, Nitish understands the role of Congress in the alliance against the BJP and, therefore, as opposed to Mamta Banerjee K.Chandrashekhar Rao and Arvind Kejriwal, he wants the Congress to play a significant part in combating the BJP.If Nitish is successful in his campaign surely it will create more trouble for the BJP.

On the other side the BJP, with continues attack on Nitish attempts to tarnish Nitish’s image and undermine his political campaign. In this manner, BJP has started targeting Nitish Kumar from Bihar to Delhi.

Bihar BJP leaders along with Ministers from the Central government have intensified their attacks on Nitish.

Questioning Nitish’s attempt to unify the opposing party, BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi has stated, “Do you find it reasonable that the third party (JDU) in Bihar is talking about the First Front at the national level.”

Trivedi stated that Nitish is engaging in this to establish his political standing.

Similar to that the Union Minister Giriraj Singh has also said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of Bihar have made Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister. But he was a liar to Modi Ji and the people of Bihar.by lying about how such a deceitful and ambitious person can give confidence to those who have already set their sights of becoming the next Prime Minister.”

Former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also took an oath at Nitish by saying, “Nitish Kumar, a disciple of Ram Manohar Lohia, who speaks of non-Congressism and is seen to be as standing with the same Congress in personal ambition and lust to be chair.”

The BJP has devised its strategy to undermine Nitish’s election both in the state as well as at the national level.Shortly after the establishment of the Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar the saffron party enlisted its Bihar-based Central Ministers MPs, senior leaders and other officials across districts to communicate with the general public as well as party workers and civil society activists.

Learning from the Nitish incident The BJP has now decided it will no longer join an alliance with any major political party in Bihar.

In an interview with IANS In an interview with IANS, a BJP leader stated that currently following the model of Uttar Pradesh, the party is working to expand its base by enhancing its structure in the whole state.

It will also keep social, caste and regional problems in mind when forming alliances with the smaller regional political parties in the state.

BJP chief Amit Shah and leader of the party J.P.Nadda had recently attended an informal meeting with Bihar BJP core group leaders to discuss how the party’s policy is being implemented. The leaders were told the party is planning to win more than 35 seats in Bihar’s state in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

It will be interesting to see if Nitish will be successful in gathering all the opposition parties together to fight the BJP at the national level or not.however, in opposition to this effort of Nitish and the BJP has formulated its policy.

In addition to Bihar the BJP has also come up with the ‘Mission144 national strategy level.

Under Mission 144, a special strategy has been formulated for the 144 Lok Sabha seats in various states where the BJP’s candidate was third or second in the most recent election, or where BJP had been able to win at some time.

The party of saffron has set a goal of winning 50% of these seats of 144 i.e.at minimum 72 seats. The majority of these seats come from states that are ruled by the opposition parties and where the BJP is not particularly strong.

The BJP’s plan of action is crystal evident — where it is strong it should take on more force and, in areas where it is weak, it should attempt to win as many seats as it can.

Incredibly, on the same day that Nitish was with opposition leaders, on the same day Amit Shah and J.P.Nadda were completing the “Mission 144” strategy at the Party headquarters in the capital city of the nation.
