New Delhi, Aug 26 : Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Rajesh Kotecha has stated that the industry of Ayush in “one of the fastest” growing sectors of Indian economy.In an interview with IANS on the sidelines of “SanjeevaniIANS on the sidelines of ‘Sanjeevani India Heals 2022’, he said that the Ayush Industry has grown by six times, from $3.2 billion to $18 billion in the past seven years following 2014 and is still “one of the fastest growing” sectors of the Indian economy.
“All stakeholders must cooperate as it’s an enormous opportunity, and we have to create an eco-system of integration of healthcare services and an approach that is pluralistic for Ayush,” he said.
The event was arranged by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) as a curtain-raiser for the ‘Sanjeevani- India Heals 2022’ to highlight India as an ideal location to seek out “credible and comprehensive” health care.”India Heals is an Health and Wellness initiative supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and facilitated by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) highlights India’s strengths as an ideal place to go to seek out Healing as well as Wellness.
It also serves as an opportunity to advertise Indian Healthcare Services globally and create long-lasting partnerships between nations while facilitating a variety of opportunities for business in the field of healthcare.
The SPEC event’s flagship will provide an opportunity for the development of long-term partnerships between nations in the area of health care areas and will focus on advertising India as the top destination for medically valuable travel.
