The Andhra Pradesh government is launching a software programme for citizens to file applications online for registration of their property documents, so as to avoid a long waiting period at the sub-registrar offices.
The stamps and registration department would ensure hassle-free registrations in a phased manner from September 1.
The programme named as ‘Computer-Aided Administration of Registration Department-Property Rights Mutation Made Easy’ (CAD-PRIMME), helps people to submit their application forms online at the department website registration.ap.gov.in for services like registration of sale of properties, mortgages, gifts, release of rights and lease-out of properties including agricultural and non-agricultural.
The applicants can pay the total amount for the services through online mode.
The CAD-PRIMME can be accessed at https://cardprimme.rs.ap.gov.in/PDE .Users have to login using their registered email ID, mobile number, Aadhaar number or TIDCO number and click on Get OTP.
With this, users can submit the registration application online, upload documents and secure appointment with the SRO.With this new process, the entire registration process will be over in less than 20 minutes.An added advantage is that the dependence on document writers and middlemen will be eliminated with the new system.
