Popular streaming platform Netflix has forayed into the world of Telugu content.The streaming platform announced a new original titled ‘Pitta Kathalu’, an official remake of ‘Lust Stories’.
Four directors Tharun Bhascker, Nandini Reddy, Nag Ashwin, and Sankalp Reddy joined hands to bring this original to Telugu.This platform that surpassed 200 million followers has tweeted on its social media about ‘Pitta Kathalu’ saying “In case you needed a reason to brush up on your Telugu.
Original twaralo me mundhuki” On the other hand, the competition between the OTT platforms is just spicing up.Now exclusive Telugu OTT platform Aha has given direct punch to Netflix, the OTT giant regarding their tweet on their latest film.They have said that in Aha they have numerous Telugu originals but they are not boasting about it.This punch has been on a lighter note.However, Netflix hasn’t replied to this counter yet.Aha’s team wrote “Manadi elago 100% Telugu ne kada? Ika brushing-lu avasaram ledu!” Aha is the OTT platform brought forward during the pandemic by Allu Aravind and has recently purchased a few Telugu theatrical released films to increase their base.
This counter from Aha has attracted a lot of attention and people are lauding the sarcasm of ‘Aha’ social media in-charge.Aha is the only active Telugu streaming platform in the internet space.
With a bunch of Telugu originals, the streaming platform is increasing the subscriber base.Let’s see if Netflix will remain silent and throwback harder with great content.
