There have been several speculations regarding the film Jilla.The speculations state that the film will be remade soon and several combinations were also proposed.
Some speculated that Venkatesh-Ravi Teja or Venkatesh-Rana will act in the remake, some said that Balakrishna liked the film very much and he wanted to act in the remake along with Kalyan Ram.Few also said that Mahesh Babu will remake the film with Mohan Lal in other important role.But now it has been confirmed that the film will not be remade, but will be dubbed into Telugu.Sri Obuleswara Productions bagged the Telugu rights of the film amid huge competition.
Tamatam Kumar Reddy and Prasad Reddy said that he is very happy to bring the film to Telugu and also said that they grabbed the film amid huge competition.Vijay and Mohan Lal who played the leads, Pradeep Rawat and Sampath Raj, who played important roles are familiar with the Telugu audiences.The telugu title will be announced soon.R.T.Neason is the director and D.Imman is the music director of this movie.Sashank Vennelakanti is penning dialogues.Hope it works out in Telugu too.
