After its release and a not-so-impressive show at the box office, Rajini-starrer ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is again in the news but for wrong reasons.An advertising company, Ad Bureau Advertising has filed a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner against Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth and producer Murali Manohar regarding the movie rights.
The company has alleged that the lease rights of the film was sold to it for 10 crores by Murali Manohar and was guaranteed by Latha Rajinikanth.But in violation of the agreement, the rights of the film were subsequently sold to EROS International, which is now also producing Rajini’s upcoming film Lingaa.
The director of Kochadaiyaan, Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, has become CEO of Eros.The complainant said that the whole act has been cleverly orchestrated.
On the other hand, Latha Rajinikanth spokesperson clarified to media that she was in no way connected to any kind of business transaction done related to Kochadaiyaan.
