In a separate case concerning the Amaravati assigned lands, the High Court has rescheduled the next hearing to November 1.This extension was prompted by the CID’s request to allow additional audio and video evidence, which they had recently acquired, to be considered before a final verdict is reached.

Originally, the High Court was slated to announce its decision on Monday, but it has now called for respondents to file their counters.

During the proceedings, the CID presented audio files as supplementary evidence and indicated its ability to provide supporting videos.Legal representatives for former minister P.Narayana raised objections, asserting that introducing new evidence at this juncture was inappropriate, especially when a verdict was imminent. They contended that evidence already presented in a separate case should not be reintroduced.

In yet another case, the High Court postponed the hearing on Naidu’s anticipatory bail plea related to the alleged Amaravati Inner Ring Road scam to October 18.

Earlier on October 13, the Andhra Pradesh government assured the Supreme Court that it would refrain from arresting Naidu in the Fibernet case until October 18.It stated its intent to seek an adjournment for the matter scheduled before the trial court on October 16, in light of the Supreme Court’s decision to defer the hearing on Naidu’s plea for anticipatory bail to October 17, along with his request to quash the FIR in the Rs 371-crore Skill Development Corporation scam.

Furthermore, Naidu’s legal team has submitted a petition in the ACB court, seeking the release of a health bulletin regarding Naidu’s condition. The court is set to review this petition on Tuesday.
