The hearing for the infamous murder case of former Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, has been postponed once again.The CBI Court has rescheduled the hearing to the 16th of this month.

MP YS Avinash Reddy, who is related to the case, appeared in court for the investigation.

Additionally, the police brought Erra Gangireddy, Sunil Yadav, Umashankar Reddy, Shivashankar Reddy, and Manohar, who were arrested in connection with the Viveka murder case, to the court.

In a significant development, the CBI court has extended the escort bail of Bhaskar Reddy, father of Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, until October 10 in relation to the Viveka murder case.Bhaskar Reddy’s interim bail had expired yesterday.

Bhaskar Reddy requested the court for additional time, citing his health condition.Consequently, the CBI court granted him escort bail for another seven days.

Earlier on September 20, the CBI Court at Hyderabad granted time-bound escort bail to Y.S.Bhaskar Reddy who has been in Chanchalguda Prison after he was arrested by the CBI in April on allegations of his involvement in the murder of Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy.

Explaining his health conditions and on the grounds of old age, Bhaskar Reddy has requested the CBI Court to grant the interim bail.

Earlier, the Telangana High Court had rejected his regular bail petition.

The CBI Court ,while granting interim bail to Bhaskar Reddy from September 22 to October 3 , has imposed several conditions.

Bhaskar Reddy will avail the medical treatment available in the Hyderabad jurisdiction only and he is not permitted to leave Hyderabad during the escort bail.Bhaskar Reddy shall pay costs towards escort of three constables / SIs provided by the superintendent of Chanchalguda Prison.

He will not indulge in any criminal activity during the said period and he has to furnish the mobile phone number, if any, used by him during the escort bail to the CBI.
