In a recent development in Andhra Pradesh politics, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court has adjourned the verdict on Chandrababu Naidu’s custody petition to tomorrow morning at 10:30 AM.The judgment, which was highly anticipated and had initially been expected to be announced today at 4 PM, has been postponed, intensifying the suspense regarding its outcome.
During the recent hearing, arguments were presented by AAG Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy on behalf of the CID and Supreme Court lawyers Siddhartha Luthra and Agarwal on behalf of Chandrababu regarding the custody petition. The ACB court had reserved the verdict after considering these arguments.
The CID lawyer emphasized the substantial evidence against Chandrababu in the skill scam case, advocating for further investigation into all those allegedly involved.Conversely, Chandrababu’s legal team contended that there is no evidence of any scam in skill development and asserted that Chandrababu is not implicated in any corrupt activities related to the skill scam case.
They also raised concerns about the arrest process, alleging violations of procedural rules.
Additionally, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has scheduled the hearing for the bail petition filed by the former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in connection with the inner ring road alignment case to September 26.The CID had previously filed a criminal case against Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that the alignment of the proposed inner ring road in the capital region of Amaravati was changed to benefit a select few.
